Adwitiyam

Adwitiyam is a pioneering initiative of the Satyam Roychowdhury Foundation, dedicated to enhancing the quality of education for students across the underprivileged districts of West Bengal. This initiative focuses on implementing high-quality, sustainable interventions to mitigate the shortcomings in the education system for children attending local schools in rural areas.

The program is directly executed by the teachers and students of 15 branches of Techno India Group Public Schools (SRC initiatives). Each participating school has adopted a minimum of 50 children, aged 6-12 years, increasing the total number of beneficiaries to over 750. These students receive structured training sessions three times a week after regular school hours and are provided with nutritious refreshments to support their overall well-being.

Adwitiyam ensures sustainability by leveraging the advanced infrastructure of established schools, the expertise of trained educators, and financial support from the Satyam Roychowdhury Foundation. The initiative moves beyond traditional rote learning, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies that make education engaging and enjoyable.

The program integrates a diverse range of activities, including English language learning, outdoor sports, dance, music, science laboratory visits, painting, and various group exercises. This holistic approach fosters creativity, social development, and cognitive growth. At the end of each session, a showcase event is organized, where students demonstrate their newly acquired skills and receive certificates and awards, further motivating them to excel.

Adwitiyam does not seek to replace formal education in government or private schools; rather, it complements existing learning frameworks by providing digital access, English communication skills, and socio-emotional development opportunities. By empowering students with the confidence and competencies needed to navigate the world, Adwitiyam is making a significant impact.

With 16 state-of-the-art learning centers extending its reach to remote areas of West Bengal, Adwitiyam stands as a beacon of educational excellence, shaping a brighter future for young learners.
